Sadly, this may be the last regular update for a while. Other projects have caught up with us and maintaining the schedule has become a problem. The comic will continue to update, though, whenever pages are finished. Hopefully this will happen weekly, though may be more often...and may be less often. Sorry, folks.
Originally there was much more to this page, but I thought the first two panels really stood on their own. Gibson agreed to let me make them into one page, and hopefully you'll all agree with our choice.
The Poison album which contained "Every Rose" came out in May 1988. (The single was realeased in October of that year.) The sign reads "Gradu," so I'm assuming this is a graduation dance. That would place this scene in roughly June 1988, or possibly the following year.
now I may be noticing something that isn't actually there, so do tell me if its just me...
but it seems like the images get crisper and more defined, even in pencil, as the flashback nears the present. it might just be me though.
BRILLIANT as always! the detail in these pages blows me away every time, from the little scrunchy in her hair and the edges of her dress, to the roof fixtures of what I suspect is a gym, even the "congrats" baloon on the floor. it makes it all seem very real, like I could have been there.
